Question:

question about smoking.?

is smoking (weed) out of aluminum foil bad for you.i kno that smoking is, bud the aluminum foil partthanks!

Answer:

The amount shown in the pattern could have been a typoThe reason I think this is because an acrylic yarn would give a longer length than 288m per 170gYou get more length with acrylic than woolIn the figures you have given above your wool yarn gives more length than the acrylic oneSkeins of yarn rarely come in 170g skeinsThey usually come in 50g or 100gPerhaps the figure of 288m is for a skein of that yarn not for 170g.
Three possibilites : 1You didn't say what your skeins weighedYou might have been using a thinner/thicker yarn that didn't work up into the correct guage2You knitted tighter than stated in the pattern instructions, resulting in a smaller gauge, so your work wouldn't end up the size described in the pattern3You probably used the recommended size hook, but I'm adding this possibility just in caseLesson learned: always knit/crochet a gauge swatch before beginning a pattern project, so you can see if you need to change your hook size, tension, or yarn.
you cant smoke a blunt out of aluminum foil you need paper around it to burn, metal doesnt burn, but even if you can it wouldn't be bad for you, i smoke nargila with foil and it doesn't change a thing (nargila aka hookah have been smoked for bazillions of middle eastern people like me (Armenian) for bazillions of years almost always with aluminum, so i dont care what there BS research says, if that was true there would be a ginormous spike in Alzheimer's among middle easterners which there isn't )
This happens 2 me 2! Well, once :) It depends on the thickness and texture of the yarnJust do what u said u would by buying extra yarn and un doing some rowsMabey nxt time add some extra feet of yarn just to be safe :)
It sounds like you used a different brand - and probably a different weight or even style - of yarnThat will sink you every timeIf you want to use the given measurements in a pattern, get as close as you can to the given yarn and hookOtherwise, be prepared for surprises.
