Lime green and maroon would make a funky color combination for trellis or wooden archways in a modernist-styled garden.
Lime green and grey are a great combo - I can see a light pale grey room with charcoal and lime accents looking very sophisticated and yet inviting. Can't visualize the maroon, but good way to check is to take 2 items of the colors you like and put them together. If your first reaction is good you can use the green or the maroon as an accent and have a 3rd neutral color- using the neutral for most of the room, a color for about 20% and 3rd color for about10% (accents).
Lime green and grey match really well actually.
