I own a Traxxas E-Revo Brushless edition which I run on 2 3S LiPo packs, but I'm gonna be moving soon and I wanted to know if I would be able to take the batteries on the plane or would they not be allowed, and for that matter would the car even be allowed.
It looks like the car would be allowed in checked baggage with one pack installed but not connected and the connector taped over to prevent shorts. The other pack must go with you as a carry on, also with the connector taped over. It cannot be a spare in checked baggage. A 5000mAh 11.1V pack is under the 100Wh limit for large batteries.
