Hi I have a 98 Nissan Altima.Starting last week ive been hearing a rattling noise under the car anytime i go over speed bumps small potholes. i looked under the car and it seems like the exaust is kinda loose and the catalytic converter looks rusted also some rusted metal ring thing fell off???? anyone know what could be going on? btw the car runs great.

There are thermistors for measuring temperature, but I think you've gotten off on the wrong foot. The device you're probably thinking of measures oxygen saturation, not temperature. It's a pulse oximeter, and has become ubiquitous.
