I always find tht when i hav mine heat really helps, like a hot water bottle placed on ur stomach where the cramps are, also drinking lots of water helps, and a little light exercise such as sit upsand try to eat something bland, like bread or toastHope it helps
Do NOT listen to that person who says chocolate and caffeine will make it worseIt doesn'tCaffeine may make it worse but not chocolateEating chocolate actually helps stop crampsBelieve me, it works for meOr drink something hot, that helps to relax you a lotHot drinks relax the musclesOr you could take something to make you go to the bathroomI know when I have cramps and I do number 2 it makes me feel better, as gross as it sounds it worksThen get your heating pad and lay down, or take a warm relaxing bath, either would help.

I use a heating pad, or those disposable heating pads that stick to the outside of your underwear when my cramps are really badIt may make you a little warm, but it really helps me to relax the muscles involved in the crampingYou should be able to get the disposable ones in the feminine product section at Wal-mart, or somewhere similarGood luck, I hope that helps, and feel better
