Here in California its a license issue, there is a test (state) that you have to pass and then you get a job. Those ads seem to imply a come in and talk to us, kinda thing. If I was you I would call them up, say hi, and show up to the interview in some nice business clothes, with a smile and a good hand shake and a real positive attitude and get them to help you get through what ever Indiana requires. These sorts of ads are promoting their little real estate schools.... which you do have to pay for... but often they offer in-house financing. Each of the major companies has one... Century 21, etc. Just remember that Real Estate is a VERY competitive field and you have to play hardball, and break the ethical rules to be in that small 5% that succeed in Real Estate. Many people like the idea of Real Estate, but cannot deal with the inconsistant income and sometimes ethically challenging workplace.
you have to take a classes in order to get your license to sell real estate
Most likely a degree is not important. Being friendly and open to people or to be comfortable around them is. So personality is important. Have some sales skills is good too. Most likely when you get hired, you need to have a lisense. They will help you get that lisense and give you some sales traiing. Good luck.
