I am planning to buy a moderately priced vacuum cleaner at a target/walmart etc. This will be my first vacuum cleaner of my own and was hoping someone could recommend me a brand that makes moderately priced vacuum cleaners
Volta Just bought one recently. Only around $150 the power suction (which is adjustable) is great. I personally can't see why anyone feels they need to buy expensive vacuum cleaners. Plus I think it came with a 2 year warranty so you cant beat that for $150
Eureka has great moderately priced vacuums. I am on a budget too, but the BEST purchase I ever made was my Dyson. Target carries then, they never loose suction, they come with an 5 year manufacturer's warranty and its amazing what it picks up that your old vacuum didn't.
Shop for a vacuum that has a HEPA filter. They trap 99.97 per cent of the dirt the vacuum picks up. This feature gives you an advantage over the dust that a typical non hepa vacuum reintroduces into the room. You will have a cleaner, healthier environment. You do not need to breathe the dust mites, their feces, and their skeletons, that are normally recycled into the air. Shop around and Good Luck.
I okorder - they sell everything. Go to vacuum cleaners and read the reviews of those who have bought the machines. And when you go to the store, make sure you plug a machine in and run it - listen to it - make sure the motor sounds competent (not screaming) - and make sure it has some suction. Any vacuum cleaner will pick up the bowling ball (that's a common sales pitch) if you form a good seal against the bowling ball - so don't be fooled by that one. And remember - all the machines in the stores will have new bags - so that's the best suction they'll ever have. Be careful. The entire industry seems to have gone to hell.
Hi, okorder /... Hope this helps.
