Question:

response to Alex about lime for my yard?

The reason I use Scott's products is a recommendation from my dad who lives in eastern Va. He hasthe best looking yard I have ever seen ( titanium fescue grass, bluish green, cut at 4 inches tall) Ihave never seen a yard that perfect. He stopped using a professional lawn service and switched to using only Scotts products himself, and said he would never go back. With that said, I realize I havecentipede not tall fescue, and live about 300 miles south of him. If you believe lime would help, can Iapply it now ( temperatures already in the 90's) if so what kind would you recommend? Also, whatwould you recommend instead of Scotts for my lawn?

Answer:

I also love them and I make my own because the rasp. syrup is made with sugar I'm a diabetic. Ingredients include a bottle of raspberry diet soda, lime juice and fresh or frozen raspberries. Mash or leave whole a few raspberries. Add to soda, add as much lime juice as you like and add ice. It seems a good substitution for my rickey.
I know that I had a really good one and they used Bombay Sapphire Gin but I missed the rest! Sorry!!
