Some rust spots are forming on my wheels and was wondering what the best way to get rid of them is.
Either the wheels aren't aluminum or the spots aren't rust. Simply try a readily available wheel cleaner for alloy wheels.
Okay well first, your wheels arn't aluminum if they are rusting. Aluminum doesn't rust. The best way to get them off the rim (depending on the amount of rust) would be to use either a fine grain sand paper or some steel wool. That would get the larger parts off, then you should get some wax to coat the rim and help prevent rust.
