Question:

Safety devices on clothes.?

My mom recently bought a gift for a friend, but the problem is that the safety device that is attatched to the shirt that she bought is still on. (you know the ones that say WARNING, and contain ink if broken.) These are used to prevent shoplifting, but I want to know if there is a way to remove the safety device, without releasing the ink , and without taking it back to the store?

Answer:

it depends on how low it is and how high the bump is, and going at angles does help because when the first tire hits the bump it picks up on the rest of the car but mostly for speed bumps its a lost cause because there so thin your tire goes over and your car goes back down before it can get to the back tires but an angle does help on inclines or driveways
The general advice is don't carry metal, don't walk under the trees and if your hair stands on end then crouch on the ground but do not lie on it. Explanations: 1) Metal conducts so you have low resistance to electricity and hence become a lightning rod. 2) Trees are tall and full of sap/moisture. They attract lightning and it can arc from them to you as you are full of nice salty solutions that conduct quite well. Also exploding trees are bad for your health if you stand next to them! 3) Your hair stands on end when a large charge from the ground enters your body making your hair try and get away from all the other hair (Like charges repel) so it is an instant warning that a strike is imminent 4) Crouch low, stay on your rubber soles, this way you make less of a lightning rod. 5) Never lie down, you are lower but when lightning hits the ground it spreads out across it causing major shocks to anything lay on the ground nearby. Good luck !
