Rather than an attic fan, see if you can get a whole house fan I think there is a difference, but whole house fan is the proper term for what I think you are talking aboutThey are just commonly known as attic fansI bet if you do some reasearch calling it by what tradesmen call it you would find more infoI life in Michigan so solar power is pretty much useless so we only have regular powered whole house fansHope this helped.
I'd have them both blowing out and drawing make-up air from passive roof vents.
