When you strip copper wire, do you have to fold it in a special way, like roll it or stamp on it?
no just fold it back and forth on it's self and wrap a few turns around if it is long enough
I fold it up only so it isn't such a snarled up mess to deal with. You could roll it up if the pieces are long enough. Just make certain you separate any tinned, or plated wire, or wire that is badly corroded, or that you burned the insulation off in a different box, because it is a different grade than hand-stripped. Also, don't mix copper pipe and copper wire together; it's two different grades. If you have sheet copper (old roofing, down spouts etc) that is yet another grade. Note: I'm baseing this on the place where I go, the place where you go might sort it differently.
