I was at the Ottawa game tonight, and although I was under the massive Canadian flag as it passed over section 300 during the singing of our National Anthem, did CBC get a good shot of it, and what were the comments? Also, was it broadcast that Chief of the Defence Staff, General Rick Hillier was in attendance and welcomed with a lengthy standing ovation? Just curious. Thanks in advance for your answers.

YE SS!!!!!!!!!!! I am a Sabres fan, just so you don't get confused, so as much as I hate Ottawa, I didn't want Crappy Crosby to get past the first round. Oh well. But, anyways, yea, thanks to the wonderful broadcasting range of CBC Hockey Night in Canada, I can sit at home, in Buffalo, NY and watch Don Cherry and see giant Canadian flags be draped over half of Scotiabank Place. Just curious, do you know how much a flag like that would cost?
ya i seen the flag thing i thought it was awesome and should be done more often in arenas and such why not be proud of what we are :D as for the rick hillier thing i dont recall hearing that but i was flickin between a few channels so could have been mentioned i dont know tho. as for the sens sorry to see them go. i would love to see a canadian team but at the same time i have a bet with my uncle for $250 that the leafs will win the cup so every year at this time i get nervous when the sens get in and the leafs dont.
Yes, they showed it on CBC it was beautiful. That would have been awesome to be under the flag. haha
