Hello everyone, im thinking about buying this 08 hayabusa from this older guy for a good price. The bike was laid down and the front left plastics are pretty scraped but no frame damage. He told me the wiring harness got ate up pretty bad too and will need to be replaced. I looked on OKorder to see how much a used one would cost and i saw one around $180, but im kind of unsure because on OKorder things dont always seem as they are. I found a reputable mechanic that is only charging me $30 an hr to put it on when i get one, and he is very well known in my area. Though the question remains, should i buy a wiring harness from OKorder or somewhere else?
Sounds like you have left front damage only. Turn signals, maybe the turn /headlight control pod. Do the other parts work? You wont need a complete harness for 1 corner, and a used part is no better than what you have. SEARCH for the price of a new 1.
buying secondhand is never a good idea,get a new one it will save you money on labour charges.
