i want an AK but i dont know if i should get wood oor plastic
Depends. By plastic do you mean East German AK brown plastic stock or do you mean tapco AKA crapco plastic? Id much rather have wood over crapco plastic, but Id rather have an East German style plastic stock (they are a dime a dozen if you ever decide to get a set).
I prefer steel rifles. The plastic ones melt and the wood ones splinter.
I prefer wood overall. They plastic can be fun for tactical. I have heard horror stories of cheap plastic melting. I would look for a plastic stock at least with a $50 price tag and maybe do some filing.
If you're buying it for me, get the wood stock AK, since it's for you, I have no friggin clue what you like.
