Um I have a bag of lettuce I bought last monthI just remembered it was in one of my fridge drawers downstairs lmaoEverything is still very greenIt looks freshShould I give it a chance?
No point in buying the extreme version as they are only factory overclocked for which you pay crazy money forI would recommend the new Ivy bridge i7 with a z68 or z77 MotherboardMany companies are selling them in systems that are over clocked as they are so stable and cool these daysLook for one of these systemsSo for instance an Intel Core i7-3770 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 at 3.4Ghz could EASILY be over clocked to 4.5Ghz and perform way better than the extreme version.
LDP has explained it wellFor gaming, you want a Core i5 processor- either the Sandy Bridge Core i5 2500K or Ivy Bridge Core i5 3570K Forget the Extremes, there's not cost-effectiveFor gaming, Core i5 has the same performance as Core i7 but costs $100 less, which is money you can instead spend on a higher-end graphics card (the most important component in any gaming build) Approximately 70% of your gaming performance depends upon your GPU, not your CPUAnd on a price/performance basis, the difference between having a Radeon HD 6770 and 6870, or between a 6950 and 7870, or between a GeForce GTX 550 Ti and GTX 560 Tithat's huge.
yes, see if it is still crisp or if it is just a bit slimey! read something the other day about lettuce keeping better if taken out of the plastic bags and divided up in aluminum foil packetsYou might try that and YES, I have a bag of chopped lettuce in the drawer of fridge that I was afraid to leave where I could see it as it might freeze there! I need to see if the foil thing will make it stay fresh longer! And I have a bag of baby spinach leaves too! I can always cook them when they start to go bad.
