It has an aluminum engine with about 60,000 miles. Hyundai says ethylene glycol (green) coolant only. Seasons here can be pretty extreme. it‘s 15* F right now and it can get up to 105* in the summer. Would adding that purple stuff increase the cooling system‘s effectiveness or would I just be wasting money?
yea bro as far as air intakes it wont make much of a difference whether its short or long.theres really not a big gain with either of em.so go with the cheapestit does look good and does make ur engine sound a bit better.but performance wise .not so good. and yea look at ur engine spacei kno sum short ram intakes fit better on the smaller japanese cars.
it really doesnt matter that coolant additive can say it reduces coolant temps by so much but keeping a solid mix of coolant and water is a better approach than a quick fix.
Follow the manufacturers recommendations. Any increase in coolant efficiency is negligible, and using an unapproved coolant may risk engine damage. There have been cases where a different additive has reacted with head gasket or hose material.
I wouldn't use that stuff in a car as new as 2011. It won't be nescessary. A lot of times, those additives could void your warranty.
