its a tribute to Biggie, she was telling the story she was talking to this girl on the phone and the girl is telling her about her boyfriend cheating on her and how he has another family nicki is so riled up in the story so she has no time to realize the police is on their way up until they knock on her door. the girl purposely did it so nicki can get caught or find out. she obviously did something illegal but that really isn't relevant to the story at hand you just need to know she got caught.
