Those windows are weaknesses in the aluminum airplane structureIt's the same as poking holes in your chassisWon't the airplane be a lot stronger without windows for the passengers? Maybe it's better not to put in windowsSaves weight and improves strength and safety.
Try exercising I found that helped a lot with releasing my stress levels and giving me something to do other than relying on cutting.I can't really talk about being a cutter myself because i've only cut a few times but I stopped,i realised what I was doing was wrong and there are healthy ways to let your anger, stress, empty feelings etc out.If you don't want to do that though, which I can understand then get ice and salt and put it in the palm of your hand and it gives a burning sensation and leaves just a red mark for a while but it'll go with in hours or a few days.Much better then cutting try getting out of that habit.Good luck champ! x
Well depending on where you are there are a lot of solutions to your problemI can think of scissors, box cutters, gardening tools, glass pieces, mirror fragments, metal coat hanger tips, and metal wireBut I just want to say thisKnowing someone who passed away from this exact same thing destroyed that persons whole family and have taken more than just their life away, but that of so many othersThat person was my daughterPosting things like this, legit or not brings all those memories backThanks, hope you find the relief you need.
Um, you know that the physical pain is only going to mask the emotional pain temporarily right? As a person who use to cut, it's a waste of time and energy and only does more hurt than anythingI say you don't cut and keep talking to your counselor and find some closure with whatever thing is really hurting you.
Nothing, it doesn't help anything, just creates scars and painIt is really good you are going to a councillorNow you have nothing to hurt yourself, why don't you start to stop now? Why wait until you see the councillor? Make a start, you can do it if you stay strong, you know you can :) Draw a butterfly where you cut, the aim is to keep it aliveIf you cut the butterfly you kill him/her and if you don't, the next time you have a shower you can wash him/her off and be proud you kept him/her alive to fly away :) Or you can try putting an elastic band around your wrist and snapping against your wrist when you feel the need to hurt yourselfOR you can make red ice cubes then when the are ready get one put it on the place you cut and keep it thereThe pain it causes will release the same endorphins and while it melts is will look like blood! Good luck!
The windows don't take that much from the structural strength from a modern aircraftIf you had windowless passenger aircraft like the military transports you'd have much fewer fliers on account of many people will feel claustrophobicEDIT: After careful research the cause of several disasters involving the De Havilland Comet turned out to be from metal fatigue due to some cheaper riveting techniquesHowever the sharp corners the windows and escape hatches earlier models had also contributed to the problemWindows and hatches on all aircraft now have rounded edges.
