I'm looking for a small vacuum cleaner but I don't know where to start. what are the best brands?
If you mean like a compact vacuum i would go with a sanitaire system pro they have a folding handle to save space but are powerful vacuums
About a year ago I bought a bagless Bissell at Wal-Mart for $42.00 and I just love it. It's small, light weight, has attachments on board and I don't have to buy bags for it. The canister and filter are easy to clean too. I was surprised I liked it so well because the one I had for 11 years without a problem was a Simplicity and I really liked it. The Bissell I bought is smaller, lighter and now that I've used it for about a year, I think I like it better than my old one that cost me over $200 because its easier on my back.
I have a small Electrolux cordless upright vac at home and it's great for quick clean ups or small places. I've had it now for quite a few years and it's still doing well.
