We have 2 vacuum cleaners. Both are bagless, only 7 months old and both have weird smell .whenever they are used, smell spreads throughout the house. They have hepa filters, even changed them but still no change. After investigating more, found that the smell is coming from the cyclonic assembly of the vacuum. The assembly is filled with fine dirt, as it cant be cleaned or washed out, there is nothing we can do. Is there a way to get rid of it without opening and cleaning the cyclonic assembly or bagged vacuum is the only way to go. Plz any suggestions? . This smell even bothers in breathing and flares up my asthma also.
I have yet to see a vacuum cleaner that don't add a smell to the air. Try vacuuming up some backing soda this helps.
