Question:

Smoke Detectors going off for no reason?

I just remedied my problem. I did clean them all and that didn't help, so I removed them from their base and unplugged them from the network wiring (what makes them all go off together). Wait for awhile and when the bad detector goes off again, it will be the only one alarming. Try cleaning this one again better and if that doesn't work just get a new one at any storemake sure it has a network capability. Then just plug the new detectors and all your old ones back in and you are in business. If the detectors are only beeping, it needs a new battery. I read alot in here about steam and EMF's setting them off but if they have been fine for years and nothing has changed in the immediate area of your detector then you problably need to replace it to stop the alarms. You might consider replacing all of them with new detectors to keep this from happening againwhy do they always pick 3am to go bad?? Good luck !!! I tried to add this as an answer to a previous question but the window had closed.

Answer:

it's illegal to park in front of a fire hyrdrant at all. you will get a ticket and towed because it's a hazard and obstruction to fire fighters if there was a fire
It is illegal to park near a fire hydrant for any time period. it is for the publics safety
I use a mild ammonia mixture. It cleans and leaves no streaks. Got to wonder about the iodine on plastic.
you cant park in front of a fire hydrant at any time for any reason the longest you can park is 0.0 seconds
It's not allowed at all. See the movie ''Backdraft'' to find out what can happen if you do park near one.
