Ok so im making a solar cooker.it cant use any electricity and no solar panels.im going to use a cooking pan but should i use aluminum foil on top to make it hotter? And if i do should i paint it black since i know black heats up quickly.thanks in advance
Chi's are awesome, i worked with a girl who had one and i used it once and loved it
ceramic it depends on the hair type also like white gurls schould use the chi flat iron and us blk ppl should use the ceramic
CHI's work the best! Not saying a true ceramic pro doesn't work but i always hear that chi's r the best
Plain aluminum foil will make a fine reflectorPaint the cooking pan black, or use one that is black alreadyHaving a lid on it will keep the heat inside the pan, cooking the food faster and more effectivelyFor extra recycling/reusing cred, open up a Doritos chip bagThe silvered inside is nearly as good a reflector as aluminum foil, and almost as durableLet the lid be whatever fits wellTwo reasons: A metal lid is lighter and less likely to overstress your pot support.but a glass lid is actually less conductive to heatLook it up: glass conducts heat very poorly compared to just about any metalGetting the sun's heat directly into the pan through a glass lid might help a little, but you've never done that with the stove, have you? Getting the pot hot and having it conduct heat directly to the food will work well enough; a hot lid will simply help maintain the steam inside the pot while you're cooking, and that's good tooYou don't have to have a parabolic reflector to make this workI've seen perfectly functional solar ovens that were nothing more than square boxes with reflectors set at a 45 degree angleThose DID have clear lids to get the heat into the cooking chamber, but you can get quite a lot done with a conical reflector focused onto an opaque pot.
