exact same model and everything sooo, i've had them for not very long for like a few months and there perfect they work than later my friends were over and i blasted the music like almost to max and i played a couple of songs. later when they left only one speaker was working than i tried checking everything, if the power was on, i checked the plugs. i checked my sound manager on the computer. than after both stopped working. but when i go to the sound manager it shows the volume level and its playing. i don't know. someone please help :(
Usually speakers are plug and play, so without disassembling the speakers (to make sure the wires are all connected), you cannot fix them.
Sorry to tell you but you have blown the speakers. I use a general rule of thumb not to exceed 60% of maximum output. If that is too quiet then I would get more powerful speakers. Without a doubt I think you should be shopping for speakers! Your blown speakers are only 20 watts RMS. Sounds like you need at least 30 watts RMS not using 2.0 as you have been using but instead using 2.1 so you get the seperate bass woofer. Start here:
You could have popped one of the speakers, by playing music at an excessive volume, I have done this many times before, just be more careful with how hard you push the speakers.
