Question:

Something moving / trapped in my copper hot water pipe?

I hear something moving in my water pipe line (Copper), sounds like a screw or nut dragging back and forth. When I turn on the tap on the sink i hear it move, then when i turn the tap off I hear it again come back. I have confirmed this happening on my hot water pipe line. what ever it is its moving back in forth when pressurized. Any help please.

Answer:

The chances are it'll be a small blob of solder from a soldered joint,it will do no harm unless it sticks in the tap under the washer in this case just turn off the water supply to the tap and remove the offending article. Best to leave it alone ,messing about cutting and recoupling pipework is silly and unneccessary.
Could be a piece of a valve that broke and was replaced or a piece of solder that came loose.
80 a bit more stiffer but still pretty FLEXIBLE
