Question:

Something stronger than rubber cement?

hi, I was wondering if anyone could suggest an adhesive more permanent than rubber cement. I am making a package and wanted to glue something onto the package for a friend. also, is there a difference in the level of adhesive-ness between rubber and paper cement? also, what's the difference between the one coat and two coat rubber cement?thanks in advanced,craftgoth420

Answer:

a good epoxy is stronger and yes paper cement is made to get into the paper where rubber cement is a surface adhesive never used two coat rubber cement so cant help you there sorry
We're gettin better man! :)
Try gorilla glue.
It depends on what the surfaces are, and their flatness. If it is a paper package, hot melt or Gorilla Glue. If the package is going through the mail or a courier service, put the item into the package.
I like Goop or wood glue. I think the 2-coat rubber cement may be the same as contact glue.
