Question:

Speakers?!?!?

i have a Kenwood amp / surround sound and i have 4 speakers but am only using two, each speaker had 4 cables red black and blue and grey, my amp had 5 ports for the speakers; like So it had 6-16 om which my speakers are. ________________________________ l Front Center l Surround l l __ __ _ _ l ___ ___ l l l __l l__ l l _ _l l l___l l__ l l l l__ l l__ l l___l l l___l l__ l l l________________________________l Red White Green Grey BlueBasically i was wondering if i can use the same port for two speakers and weather this would affect the amp / speakers and what the hell are the colours about????!?!?!

Yea, I have to agree with Mia about the speakers, the only instance I can think of where they use extra signal wire (other than red and black or black and white depending on the brand) would be for a system where the speakers and amp have to work together (like small stereo systems where the wire is attached to the speaker) or if the speakers are bi-amplified or bi-wired, for example, one set of wires is for the tweeter or high end and the other is for woofer or low end. I would be careful or try other speakers that only use red/black combinations. There are different ways of wiring speakers but at this point just getting it set up right should get you where you want to go.
look Kenwood amp for sound system 5.1 2 speaker front 1 speaker center 2 speaker back and 1 for sub i think your speaker doesn't work with this amp correct or try to used red and black cable only
