Try seasoning the steaks on 'both' sides w/ sea salt or kosher salt and pepper(be sure steaks are chilled, pop back into fridge.) Wash the baked potato, dry.then coat the spud w/ light olive oil and sprinkle w/more of the kosher salt.Wrap the baker tightly in a sheet of aluminum foil (6x6 inches)w/ a fork stab the spud around 6-7 times to allow it to breathe in the ovenAn average sized potato at 350 degrees takes around 60-70 minutesWhen your grill is 'white hot' pop the steaks on.(since youv'e chilled the steaks in the fridge.and they are going directly on to a hot grill, they wont stick when u try to turn them.) Around 6-minutes on the FIRST side.and flip.around an x-tra 3-4 on the second side.130-38 degrees for medium. When the steaks are done.set them on a large platter to 'rest for around 5 minutes.(This will keep the juices IN.) Serve up the steak and potato that you've 'slit' and 'puffed out of the oven.Serve them both up on a dinner the steak w/onion rings if you wish.
