Question:

Sticky stuff on new tin foil?

I opened a new roll of tinfoil and there were sticky things on the first opening sheet I ve never seen this before and was wondering if it was normal?

Answer:

Note: Iron works better than steel for making permanent magnets in the method described in the first answerPaper clips are usually high in iron content, and are in fact easily magnetized as described.
Locate any large speaker in your housePut the paper clip attach to the back of speaker where has a large piece of magnetPulling paper clip back and forth a few times,it shall turn into a weak magnet.
Straighten out the clip Using a permanent magnet, stroke the length of the clipAlways use one direction of stroke and always stroke with the same end of the magnetAbout 20 strokes will do ot.check that the paper clip is magnetized by means of a steel item.
I have opened aluminum foil and found that the free end is taped / stuck to the roll.
