I have a toy car run off a hydrogen fuel cell. However, after a year the fuel efficiency seems to have decreased. I was wondering if this had anything to do with the way it has been stored. Should a hydrogen cell be stored dry or with water in it, and would this possibly be causing my problems? Many thanks guys.
the plates become fouled with water. Water has some salts disolved in it that when the water evaporates, it leaves behind salt on the plates. Try cleaning the cell with vinager.
I store mine in the fridge, right next to my rechargeable batteries.
