Pipeline centrifugal pump shaft is a ladder shaft parts, in general, as a whole. But in the anti-corrosion pump, because of the high price of stainless steel, sometimes used in combination, as shown in figure 223. The parts of the contact medium are made of stainless steel, and the parts of the bearings and couplings are made of high quality carbon cable structural steel. The stainless steel and carbon steel are inserted and connected, and the interference fit is strengthened with pins.
Pump shaft material and structure, as the pump shaft for the transmission of power, and high-speed rotation, in the transmission of clean water and other non corrosive medium pump, usually made of 45 steel, and quenching and tempering treatment. The pump shaft material is 40Cr and quenched and tempered in the pump conveying weak corrosive medium such as salt solution. In the anti-corrosion pump, that is used to transport acid, alkali and other corrosive medium pump, the pump shaft material is generally lCr18N19lCr18Ni9Ti and other stainless steel.
The main function of the centrifugal pump shaft is to transfer power, and support the impeller in the work position, the amount of normal operation. One end of the shaft is connected with the motor shaft through a coupling, and the other end supports the impeller to rotate. The shaft is provided with bearings, axial sealing parts and the like.
