Question:

Submersible pump impeller upper part of the main shaft is always cut off, what is the cause?

Submersible pump impeller upper part of the main shaft is always cut off, what is the cause? Is the main shaft machining of the pump rotor the same as that of the production motor industry?

Answer:

Broken shafts are rare. I do not know how large your submersible pump is, the first is the dynamic balance of the impeller, if the impeller dynamic balance is not good, will lead to impeller rotation, due to uneven centrifugal force caused by shaft bending deformation. This small deformation occurs at every turn, so the shaft is fatigued in this repeated deformation and eventually breaks
When the shaft is designed, the torque is sufficient and will not break because of the load. Unless there is a large amount of particles in the medium, the shaft will be greatly impacted
I have met this phenomenon several times. The main reason for the fracture of the pump shaft from the impeller is the following:1, impeller dynamic balance failure or factory do not make dynamic balance;2, "water hammer" phenomenon led to the installation of one-way pump outlet valve can be resolved;3, the pump shaft strength is not enough, from the regular manufacturers purchasing pump shaft can be solved.
But the damage should be the impeller first. The processing of the main shaft and the production of the same industry, machinery processing. After fixing the shaft, the impeller must be dynamically balanced, and the impeller will be replaced by dynamic balancing.
