When I was a young girl, there was a very special woman in my familyShe would always bring us treats - especially around the holidaysShe would make these glazed pecans that she called quot;yummy nutsquot; and if you didn't get any right after she brought them, you weren't going to get any because everyone loved them so much! They had a quot;coatingquot; on them that seemed to be like crunchy little bits of sugar and they did not have any actual spices such as cayenne pepper in themI have noticed at state fairs and carnivals - anywhere there are booths with food - they sell these exact same treatsI do not know how to make them and would love to have the recipeI have found a few similar recipes but none quite like the way Grandma Dorris made them If anyone out there has a recipe that might help me, I would appreciate having it so very much.Thank you to everyone who answers and may you have the brightest most joyous holiday season .
