Question:

Suggestion for high capacity .22 semi-automatic guns?

Hi,I'm looking for a semi automatic gun resembling a Sub-machine gun (not a traditional looking long rifle)I want one which fires .22 LR roundsCanadian regulations allow unlimited round magazines; therefore, it should have at least a 20 round clipThe GSG-5 is a good example of what i want; although, I heard that they are no longer in productionIf anybody can contribute towards a list of guns that meet this criteria, it would be much appreciated. My requirements are:-the gun is semi-auto-it fires .22LR-has a high capacity clip (20 or more)-It may have optic potential-plastic stock is preferred-has iron sights-is fairly accurate at 100 yards-main uses would be target practice-The gun should be within 500 or so dollars.I appreciate any suggestions greatly!Cheers,

Answer:

For pretty much any game, that build is good and will run on high settings, Skyrim and minecraft will run great on max settingsIl give it a 5/5.
Its good but you can cut back on the power Supply thats about ~400W more than needed
Ruger 10/22: with the correct accessories you can make it into anything you'd like- $225 accepts high capacity detachable magazines, max 50 rds .22LR, semiautomatic, blowback meh iron sights drilled for scope base, factory new ones will come with the scope baseplinking, target shooting, about 2 groups at 50m Puma PP-something: looks like the PPsh-41 - $350 accepts hi cap mags up to 50 rds .22LR, good iron sights scope can be installed looks cool (although its better to buy the PPsh-41) Ruger SR-22: a Ruger 10/22 that's been made to look like an AR15 - $450 same specs as the Ruger 10/22 GSG AK47 .22LR: an AK-themed .22LR - $450 22 rd mags, pretty cool looks like an AK47 and if you look really hard, you may be able to find a used SAR-180This is the ultimate .22LR plinker, target practice or other use rifleIts semiautomatic, looks like a Thompson with a pan magazine, totally awesome looking, unfortunately not CA legal (that's why I don't have one) Full auto versions have been called the 100 yard full choke shotgun The one gun that uses magazines so high capacity its shockingThe mags are a bit pricey though, but honestly you won't need more than 2x 275 round magazinesYep275 roundsUsed Private Party Transfer- as low as $475 New from the Factory- $1100.
