suppose you want to hoist a 2000N engine block out of a car. Would you want to use a pulley system with several moving chins sections or very few? why?
You would want to select a chain block of 0.5 Ton capacity as the mass is only 203 kg. Too many chain section would cause more problem during removal out of car.
