If you have a lightning rod most likely no otherwise it is possible. The safest place to be during lightning is in a car in a garage or at least a car because of the rubber wheels so if you are in danger get in a car or else a house is the next best place. Also stay away from metal objects because static electricity form lighting.
It can get in the wires and mess stuff up. It burned up my grandparents' tv once.
