t4a. Better 1970's tag team in pro wrestling: blackjacks or bruiser/crusher?
The Blackjacks, boy that's been a while back. I must be old.
I didn't see much of either, but from what I do know the Blackjacks were better as a team and more of a 2 man unit. Not taking anything away from Dick the Bruiser The Crusher.
I got to see The Crusher many times, but The Bruiser only a few times. I think I saw them as a team twice. Well, not a team, more a couple of tough guys watching each other's backs for the duration of the match. Two of the greatest brawlers in wrestling history, but zilch for teamwork. Mulligan and Lanza were a real team and I saw them many times. Big, mean, nasty, and a very good team. Always contenders for tag titles wherever they went. The Blackjacks were the far better team.
