This is my husbands first year as a truck driver. He works for Werner and recieves per-diem pay. I asked the IRS about per diem, and they said that since the additonal reimbursemt won't show up on our W-2's it isn't counted as income. What things are write-offs? Cell phone? We live in Indiana if that helps.

Palin is not an official spokesman for the Republican party. She is a lightening rod of criticism from the left because it is part of their strategy to pick a member of the right and demonize them as a way to increase their own political power. Bush used to hold that role but he is retired and irrelevant now. The attacks seem to only enhance Palin's reputation.
