Question:

The hot water from my Condensing boiler is not a constant temperature it goes hot then cold?

Has anyone got any ideas please the boiler is new also it sounds like it is firing all the time is this normal ?Thanks in advance

Answer:

I assume you are referring to a hot water coil in your boiler. After the boiler there is probably a mixing valve. This tempers the hot water with cold water to keep it from getting too hot. It is possible that debris in the lines from the new installation has gotten caught here and is making this valve stick. If it is constantly on this may the a thermostat or aquastat problem. It is difficult to diagnose such problems with certainty from a distance. Have the installer come back and check out the system.
