So i left my xbox on over night (i know i know) and during the night there was either a power outage or surge, cuz all the electronic clocks had been reset. So i went to my xbox, and the light on the power cable box was red and my xbox wouldnt turn on. I havent tried unplugging it yet cuz the wires are behind my tv and a pain in the *** to get to, but i have a feeling this wont help.do i need to get it repaired?
Unplugging the power brick should sort it out. You can just unplug the end of the wire which goes itno the brick itself rather than the plug socket if that makes it easier.
The power brick is shot. Same problem happened to me. Best solution is to call xbox support and ask for a replacement. They'll ship one to you,the only problem is that sometimes they will charge you and sometimes they won't.
i'd recommend attempting a diverse outlet. Yellow isnfine cuz even as mine is off its yellow. it would properly be eco-friendly once you turn it on. If it really is nevertheless purple i'd say supply xbox a call or get a clean cable. Xbox enables yet not that a lot yet u can attempt
Disconnect everything except for the wires behind tv and also remove xbox 360 hard drive and insert back Connect everything back in place. The problem should be fixed If problem still keeps happening then its a sign of getting a new power adapter(cable box) For any more questions about xbox 360 feel free to ask
It's probably way to hot so plug it out for about an hour and a half and that will probably cool it down then and then it might be ok then.
