Three coordinate uses: Actually I have only contacted one kind of CMM, is Italy COORD3, for this kind of CMM I think has the very big flaw, certainly also has the merit. The structure of profilometer: instrument made of granite plate, working platform, sensor, drive box, display, computer and printer etc. measurement can be selected in different positions of the workpiece to be measured, measuring length setting automatic measurement, data sampling evaluation period up to several million. And can display or print contour shape and its size, various roughness parameters and contours of the supporting length rate curve.
The use of profilometer: it can measure the roughness and shape parameter of all kinds of precision machine parts. The method of fitting is used to evaluate garden arcs and straight lines. It can measure the radius, straightness, convexity, groove pitch, inclination, vertical distance, horizontal distance and step shape of the arc radius. The instrument can be of various parts of the surface roughness test; on plane, inclined plane, cylinder, inner hole surface, deep groove, circular and spherical surface roughness test, and realize multi parameter measurement.
