I AGREE HAVE IT BLOWN INU CAN RENT MACHINE FROM HOME DEPOST AND OR LOWES AS WELL AS MOST RENTAL PLACES OF EQUIPMENT DEPENDING ON YOUR LACAL, IT IS RECOMENDED R30 WHICH IS EVALATE TO 12 IN DEPTHBE CAREFUL NOT TO FILL YOUR SOFFITT SO THAT AIR CAN STILL MOVE WITHIN YOUR ATTIC(SOFFITT IN-AIRHAWK, POWER VENT AND OR RIDGE VENT OUTGOOD LUCK AND IT IS GREAT SAVINGS ON YOU UTILITY BILLS
I say go with fiberglass just keep a distance of 6 inches around heating areas.
Most important things to remember-Know where the floor joists are so you don't fall through! BLOCK OFF all access areas including vents, your AC unit, attic door, etcif you use blow in insulationYou can use cardboard or thin plywood to block off these areas so blown insulation does not go against themAlso watch out for bathroom vents-sometimes they are not vented to the outside, just into the attic, which is improper, but you certainly don't want to cover them upBatts are easy to do, but the blow in is not that difficult once you get the hang of itCertainly will need a helper or two either wayDon't want to have to keep running up and down from the attic Adding attic insulation is the best thing you can do to save energy-I've worked in a state energy (weatherization) program for over 20 years.
1 4oz-8oz can tomato paste 1/2 cup minced onions 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup soy sauce Mix all together and add to baking dish, cover with aluminum foil and bake.
