Question:

so I have a rock island 1911 mshow do I get a copper jacketed round out of the barrel?

the round had no powderI didn't know it would get that stucknow I used some rim oil and gun cleaning rod but it is really stucktrying not to go to gunsmith(in fact im trying to become one)any advice besides straight up ridicule would be helpfulmy motto is live and learnill never do this again it was actually an experimenttrying to check how powerful the bullet would be without powder.(not very)I at least thought it would clear the barrelits really stupid but I didn't think that the barrel would be that tight to the bulletbut then I remember they want accuracy.

Answer:

YES unless it is climate controlled
You will need the following items1A bench mounted vice and a way to secure the barrel in the vice without screwing it up (wood shims, lead strips etc.) 2An aluminum or brass rod fairly close to the diameter of the bore 3A decent weight hammerEnsure the gun is unloaded and field strip itLook at the barrel and determine if the projectile is closer to the end of the muzzle or the chamberSecure the barrel in the vice, take the aluminum or brass rod and insert it in the barrelNow take your hammer and tap on the rod driving the bullet outOnce the bullet is out CAREFULLY inspect the barrel for any potential damageIf there's no damage clean the barrel and reassemble the gunBe more careful next time.
if the wood is exposed to the elements then cover it.
