I would be, too, if I stuck by the guy who I thought was my best friend. The same guy that was my best man and I his; that I stuck up for when the chips were down after the fire hydrant incident; that told me it was OK to caddy for someone else so I could make some money (since he hadn't paid me in the last two years, even though we did compete in some events, including a T4 at the Masters) yet changed his mind and got angry over it afterwards. You don't just let that kind of stuff go, not when it was more than just a player/caddy relationship. Think about it: your best friend starts a business and hires you on as the only other employee. It becomes very successful. Things hit a rough patch, but you stood by your bff. The business declined a little, but everyone was saying you're poised for a reemergance. You dabble in another venture (second job), since you were asked to take a paycut. Your best friend originally gives his blessing, then takes it away and sacks you. How would YOU feel?
