Question:

This is on fashion, i was wondering what material?

cloths were made of in the 1945‘s, i was just watching The Spanish Main with Maureen OHara, and her cloths are beautiful, these days seems i can‘t find really cool cloths made from cotton, the pretty designs are rayon or polyester , i wish more were made with natural cotton, but would anyone know what the cloths were made of in those days 1945 ish ?

Answer:

hay this problem is fuse/rely box. it is Little work.don't worry. please check up it. this problem is not wiper motor.ok best of luck,
Cotton of course was readily available. Barkcloth was really popular in the 40's 50's. it was densely woven cotton fibers that gave the fabric a texture similar the barkcloth that was popular in Asia (this was fabric made from the bark of trees that grow in the South Pacific) these days if you find barkcloth it's going to have a tropical or hawaiian theme to it. Jersey is another cotton fabric that was used. (these days it may be easier to find a cotton/rayon blend. If you're not able to find or afford the 100% cotton then go w/ a blend.) Rayon existed then but it was always made up as satin as a substitute for silk. improvements in the technology has allowed them to use it to mimic cotton other types of fabrics. Raw silk another popular cloth for dressmaking. Raw silk actually looks like a nubby cotton. I love raw silk. there is also wool which was used to make tweed other types of suiting fabric for dressmaking, if you like cotton you can't find cotton then go for a cotton/rayon blend that might be easier to find. for the movie the Spanish Main: the costumes would have been made out of silk, satin, taffetta, wool, lace, cotton
1st of all CHECK THE FUSE!!!
