Light is carried by what?

Title: LIGHT CARRIER12. Light is carried by:a. Nubian slavesb. Etherc. Nothingd. Anythinge. RTD

Answer:

nothing
Nothing for sure it can travel through a vacuum but it can also go through transparent materials
Light is carried by what? If you are asking whether light needs a 3-dimensional physical medium in which to travel, the answer is NO. In fact, light can only travel in a vacuum, where there is no 3-dimensional physical objects! Light is a form of electromagnetic radiation! When light collides with matter the energy of the light is absorbed by electrons and atoms of the matter. The electrons will absorb some of the energy, become excited and unstable. Then the electrons release the energy as light of a specific color and become stable again. The atoms will absorb the energy and vibrate faster. Now the atoms have more vibrational kinetic energy, so the temperature of the matter has increased. During the time, that the electrons were absorbing energy, becoming excited and unstable, releasing the energy as light of a specific color and become stable again; the energy that used to be in the form of electromagnetic energy is now in the form the vibrational kinetic energy of the atoms. The light does not exist during this time, because the electromagnetic energy does not exist during this time! Electromagnetic radiation, such as visible light, consists of a specific amount of electromagnetic energy. When the electromagnetic energy has changed to kinetic energy, the electromagnetic radiation that is composed of the electromagnetic radiation, that we experience as visible light, no longer exists in the form of visible light. Now the energy exists in the form of the vibrational kinetic energy of the atoms, which we can feel at heat energy.
