I'm about to get my real estate license in ohio, but I am a little scared because of the market, what are some other things I can do with my real estate license (job wise) that pays hourly that I can do untill the market picks up??? (is it worthless to employers not in real estate?
If you work hard you will make money. Why get an hourly job that pays the same as a burger flipper? Didn't you get your license for the freedom of the job, and the potential to make unlimited income? Just work hard and you will be fine. The good agents are till making killer money, its the bums who re starving. If you want an hourly job go to McDonald's. RE Agent, Remax making way more than a burger flipper. (and DR'S)
Real estate agents are the people you deal with face to face when buying or selling property. These are the people on the front lines of the real estate market and perform such tasks (amongst others) as showing homes to perspective buyers and negotiating transactions on behalf of their client. Real estate agents often work on a 100% commission basis, their income dependent upon their ability to find property suitable for their clients and closing transactions. .......Real Estate Agent Bendigo
The services of a buyer's agent are often at no cost to the buyer. The real estate agent agreement defines the compensation terms. The agreement should clearlyspell out who is compensating the buyer's agent. As a buyer, seek agreements which state compensation will be paid by the seller only. Under these circumstances, the real estate agent will serve you at no cost to you. The seller's agent (firm) is glad to compensate the buyer's agent. After all, the buyer's agent was largely responsible for the sale. Learn more about real estate agent opportunities with Proclient today!
I am not a real estate agent, but my mom is, so here is my two cents. Just because the market is slow right now does not mean that you won't do well as a real estate agent. People are still moving by the hundreds in your area every day I'm sure. If you really want to be a real estate agent, I would work hard at establishing your client base right now. Advertise yourself, and be a good real estate agent (honest, flexible, AVAILABLE, etc.). GOOD real estate agents are hard to find! Hope this helps!
