Question:

To Kill a Mockingbird - Boo Radley's Gifts From The Tree?

I need to know the three gifts that Boo leaves in the tree for Jem and Scout

Answer:

Yep you certainly canBass boats usually have a bit more of a flatter hull design to go through shallower or weedy water, most bass boats have a good horsepower to weight ratio and actually perform quite wellInstead of lounge type seats they will probaly have pedestal or stool type seats for fishing and possibly some sort of container for holding fish but if it has the horsepower you can play with them and still catch fish, the best of both worldsOne thing, bass boats are usually a bit shallow for rough water so skedaddle when it get stormy.
I agree with Fisher K for the most partWith the money you have to spend, I would avoid a fiberglass boat as you can get much more bang for the buck with an aluminum boat and still have plenty of deck space for standing and casting if you get the right boatAluminum boats are lighter but just as strong when built rightAnd this is where I would respectfully differ from Fisher KRather than a welded boat, get a rivited boat like a Lund or Alumacraft: both are very well built with the Lund being the leaderThere are plenty of used models around if you look, especially in the northern states where walleye boats are preferred over bass boatsA walleye boat will serve the average bass fisherman just as well as a bass boat and will handle better in the chopBoats are similar to aircraft in some respects-they take stresses to the frame from water just as airplanes do from wind resistanceAirplanes are mostly rivited, not weldedMost Lund and Alumacraft boats use aircraft quality rivetsMany have a double layer of aluminum in the front 1/3 to 2/3 of the hull and will last a long long time if not abusedCrestliner is the only welded aluminum boat that I would recommendThe have a tongue in groove welding process on their better boats that is very strongLowes, Basstrackers and other welded boats will almost certainly leak, sometimes from day oneAt most Ontario lodges, you will find 16' aluminum boats by Lund or NadenWhile they use more welding than the bigger Lunds and Alumacrafts, they are good little boats that last and will haul with a 25 hp 2-stroke tillerThey don't have decks to stand on, but you can install some deck space or have someone with such knowledge do it for not much money at allIf I could only spend $10K or less, that is what I would do.
This is a list of all the treasures they found in the treeThey should all be in the order they were found2 pieces of chewing gum (Scout removed the wrapper from the gun when she removed it from the tree, Wrigley's Double Mint) 2 scrubbed and polished pennies, one on top of the other (confirmed to be a 1906 and 1900, both Indian-heads by Jem) 1 ball of gray twine 2 almost perfect miniatures of two children (Scout and Jem) 1 whole package of chewing gum 1 tarnished medal (confirmed to be a Spelling Bee medal from before the Finch children were born) 1 pocket patch that wouldn't run, on a chain with an aluminum knife After finding the final gift-the pocket watch and knife-Scout and Jem figured that they would write a letter to whoever was leaving them the treasures, presumed to live in the Radley house.
