Hi im looking at buying a 1989 supra turbo and want to know how i would go about getting a trailer hitch wiring harness? i would just use it in the summer to tow my bike and have found a hitch and trailer just need info on trailer hitch wiring. do they make universal kits? thanks
If the car has separate bulbs for turn signal and brake lights you will need a converter. If I remember its like 7 wire to 4 wire . Should be able to get one at walmart for $15-$20.
they do make universal kits that wire up to the tail lights of the vehicle. depending on whether it has separate bulbs fur the turn signal and brake light would determine which kit you need. your local parts store should be able to help you out if they have half a head between their shoulders.
