i just got back from seeing transformers and the special effects were awesome but the storyline could have been better. I thought the girl meghan fox was so prettywho thought the same?
my take was, if you're a decepticon, why give away anything until you're ready to strike? think about it, you're an a**kicking supercomputer with crazy weapons and you can hack the sh** out of the most sophisticated systems on this planet in a matter of seconds. you're looking for a seemingly insignificant pair of glasses WHICH ARE FOR SALE ON E-BAY. you can't just hack a bank or large corporation, jack a few million, and give the high school junior a huge amount of money for the glasses and just wait a day for UPS, THEN go for Megatron and the All-Spark? that was the big one for me, also they put too much comic relief on the transformers side. that version of soundwave they put in there was way too cutesy. and sorry dude, but Meghan Fox is just Jennifer Connolly ten years ago, but without the great skin. don't get me wrong, i thought the movie was decent enough, but people are going crazy over it, and it's unwarranted. that's all i'm saying.
I agree, although a lot of people thought the movie was amazing, the real thing I liked abut it was the special effects, fight scenes, and Bumblebee! Who doesn't want a car that can turn into a robot? But yeah the storyline/acting wasn't that great, although there were a few times where i laughed.
Well, I thought the movie was great. And yes, I think she was very pretty. I didn't see that her acting was as awful as everyone is saying. I think people were expecting it to be an Oscar winner, when really all you could expect was to have a good time watching the special effects and the robots beat the crap out of each other. Like, the first scene where Bubblebee and the cop-car battled that was thrilling people overlook that. I think, at least. Anyway, you already know my answer from a previous question about the movie. I thought it was great. I even saw it twice, and I see NO movie twice.
Meghan Fox is beautiful- I always wished I was born with bright blue eyes and dark hair. I thought the movie was really good- I went last week to see Pirates 3 and I really beleived that Transformers was much better. According to my brother who was really into Transformers as a child, the storyline was traditional transformers. I was a little unhappy about the language used in the movie since I took my 8 year old with me. The movie really seemed to be geared towards adults more than children, but I would recommend the movie to any adult that likes sci fi.
Well, you can call me nuts! It was so goood, I watched it FOUR times. So good, I'm thinking of going for a 5th! (4 is bad luck!). To me, Transformers just broke the barrier when it comes to making robots that interact well with humans. The awesomely human-like behaviour of the Autobots, the cool action scenes, fast but cool transformations and the god-like Optimus Prime took my breathe away! Absolutely the best movie this year. No one could ask for a better live adaptation of a cartoon, especially one that we used to love.
